As many of you know, we have two fire companies in Bernards township: the Basking Ridge Fire Company No. 1 and the Liberty Corner Fire Company. Did you also know that both of these organizations are “all-volunteer” and responsible for raising the majority of their own funds? Santa knows this! And each year, he does his best to help raise money for the fire departments by hitching a ride on a fire truck and delivering holiday gifts to children’s homes.
For a recommended $60 Donation, Santa Claus (or a firefighter in lieu of Santa Claus) will arrive at your home on a fire truck to deliver a holiday gift (which you provide), to your child(ren). The fire truck will arrive at your home with its lights and sirens activated. After the truck comes to a complete stop outside your home, each child is encouraged to come to the fire truck to receive his/her gift from Santa (or a firefighter). You are free and encouraged to take pictures.
